Settling Employment Disputes
Dennis Clifford is a Credentialed Distinguished Mediator with the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association and an active member on the American Arbitration Association’s Mediation and Arbitration Panels for employment law matters. He has a nationwide mediation practice. He is often called upon to help resolve complex employment disputes in jurisdictions across the country, including Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, California, Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Colorado, New Jersey, New York, and Puerto Rico.
Over the past 20 years, he has developed a strong reputation among employment litigators as a knowledgeable and trustworthy employment mediator. Mr. Clifford’s Mediation Commitments
- He will carefully read your case memorandum before the mediation.
- He will hold separate telephone conferences with counsel for each party prior to the mediation.
- He will provide his undivided attention throughout the day.
- He will not disclose information to your opponent unless you give him express permission to do so.
- If the case does not settle, he will hold post-mediation settlement conferences with counsel for each party at mutually agreeable times.
Timing & Fees
Full-day mediations typically run from 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM. The mediation fee for single-plaintiff cases is typically $3,900. Non-compete and trade-secret matters are typically $4,600. The mediation fee for class and collective-action cases typically ranges from $5,500 to $12,000, depending on the complexity of the case and the size of the class. Exception pricing is available in some cases.
Half-day mediations run from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. The half-day mediation fee is $2,100. Mr. Clifford does not offer half-day mediations for class or collective-action cases.
Mr. Clifford is available to conduct mediations in person, via Zoom, or a combination of both, with some parties attending in person and some participating via Zoom.
